Who am I?
My name is Tait Blanchard. I am a husband, father, friend, reader, listener, gamer, wedding officiant, and thinker. I am always trying to do better than I did yesterday.
What do I do?
I work for the U.S. Army. To that end, I do many things, but my primary responsibilities and duties are to listen efficiently to others, to analyze what they say, to solve problems of varying complexity, and take care of myself and my employees.
Where do I do it?
I live and work in Colorado, USA, but I exist on the internet. My productivity is not limited geographically.
When have I done it?
I have worked for the U.S. Army since 2013.
I graduated with my Associate of Applied Science Degree in Intelligence Operations in August 2017 from Cochise College, Sierra Vista, Arizona.
I have studied for my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Computer Information Technology online at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky since 2018.
I have been a wedding officiant since 2021.
Why do I do it?
I have always been driven by a strong sense of community and public service. My greatest desire is to serve my country and my family honorably. I feel I have been gifted a great talent for what I do, and I owe it to my fellow passengers on Spaceship Earth to use that gift to help ease their suffering.
The world is a raft sailing through space with, potentially, plenty of provisions for everybody; the idea that we must all cooperate and see to it that everyone does his fair share of the work and gets his fair share of the provisions seems so blatantly obvious that one would say that no one could possibly fail to accept it unless he had some corrupt motive for clinging to the present system.
